The past weekend, an Argentine rock back called Divididos played a two-night stand at Teatro Flores in Buenos Aires.  During the course of my time  in Argentina, I’ve seen them 4 or 5 times and it never disappoints.  They play a unique brand of rock that I have trouble describing, but I can honestly say that they are one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen.

What I saw last weekend was a perfect example of a band that is completely comfortable with its songs and the audience.  The group consists of a bass player, drummer, and guitar player/singer who have been playing together for years now.  To read more on the history of the band, check out the Divididos wikipedia article or the band’s homepage.

Divididos certainly know how to rock hard, but they are also beloved for their slower songs that let singer Ricardo Mollo’s voice shine.  Not only do I consider Divididos to be one of my favorite bands in Argentina, but I also think they are one of my favorite bands to see live in the world.  If you get a chance to see them in concert, I highly recommend checking them out.    The song below is one of my favorites…
