We at Road2Argentina have partnered with many local non-profit organizations, schools, orphanages and community centers in Buenos Aires in order to provide assistance to those in need. At the same time, these partnerships give our volunteers the opportunity to get involved with meaningful projects to make a difference during their time here in the city. Volunteering is also a great way to learn and practice your Spanish, or Castellano as the locals call it.

TESTIMONIALS

What do past Road2Argentina volunteers have to say about their experiencies?

I really enjoyed my experience teaching at a school in Recoleta. I helped teach grades 1 through 6. The kids were great to work with, the teachers were great to work with, and I really enjoyed my time in BA. I lived in a homestay while I was here and also took Spanish classes. Having all of that was a great introduction to Buenos Aires and Road provided me with a wonderful support network. I would highly recommend Road2Argentina to anyone interested in coming to volunteer in Buenos Aires!

“I volunteered at an organization that works with youth living in socially marginalized and extremely impoverished areas of Argentina. This experience was one I will never forget! One of my biggest accomplishments during my time in Buenos Aires was seeing my communication skills improve drastically throughout my program. I went from knowing very basic Spanish to conversing more fluidly by the end. Road2Argentina helped me with everything I needed to know about the city, planned awesome activities, and made sure I got the most out of my time in Buenos Aires!”

I honestly loved every part of my experience! Some parts were frustrating or overwhelming or uncomfortable, but I think I grew and learned more from those times than the times that were easy breezy! I would definitely recommend Road2Argentina to anyone wanting to come to Buenos Aires. It was SO helpful to have a support system already in place when I arrived. Without you guys I would have been lost!! So thank you for all that you do and for helping to make my traveling experience a good one.
